Adriana Rubens is the pen name of a spanish writer born in Valencia in 1977. She holds a degree in Fine Arts from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, where she was awarded several scholarships that allowed her to live for a few years in Italy and Ireland. Her first novel, Detrás de la máscara (Behind the Mask), won the VI Premio Vergara-RNR. This was followed by several other novels that have garnered excellent reviews from readers, including Detrás de tu mirada (Behind Your Gaze), which won the Romantic Corner Award for Best National Historical Romance in 2018, and La sombra de Erin (The Shadow of Erin), which won the Romantic Corner Award for Best National Fantasy Romance in 2018.
