Aimee Goodman was born into an upper-middle-class family in Garland, TX. She was the fourth child, with two older brothers and an older sister. Aimee’s parents divorced when she was two years old, and her mother remarried a man named Perry Logan, whom the kids called “Pop.” Aimee warmly welcomed her new stepfather into her life. With Perry, her mother had Aimee’s youngest sister, Maureen Deann, whom Aimee affectionately nicknamed Baby D. Aimee’s older sister, Kathleen, is her hero. She shares a close bond with all her siblings despite their childhood challenges. Aimee’s childhood was marked by various trials and tribulations, but she navigated them with resilience and the support of her family. Her love for her siblings, especially Baby D, fueled her determination to overcome obstacles and thrive. Aimee is caring, resilient, and fiercely protective of her loved ones.
