Alec Eberts and his grandfather, Paul Smith-Goodson, started Runaway Alien in early 2011 and finished writing most of it during the summer of that year. After working on a suitable ending for the remainder of 2011, they finally published it in January 2012. Alec's hobbies are reading, golf, soccer, basketball, and football. He also enjoys online games, especially Wizard 101 and Free Realms. Alec’s grandfather, Paul, retired from the corporate world in 1996. He has been married to Alec’s grandmother, Joan, for 46 years.
