Originally from the mountains of Nevada, I currently reside in Oklahoma with my husband, our Labrador Retriever, and our Boston Terrier. During the day, I work as a mortgage loan processor, and in the evenings, I spend my time writing, often until midnight. My love for storytelling began at a young age when I first watched *The Wizard of Oz*. Inspired by the film, I began creating my own worlds by drawing scenes that, when pieced together, formed a narrative. Once I learned to write, my passion only grew stronger. I spent countless hours daydreaming and filling notebooks with half-written stories. In school, I focused on subjects like English, creative writing, history, and mythology. After graduating, I let the demands of the adult world consume my time and energy for a while. However, determined to prove that passion can thrive alongside daily responsibilities, I ultimately finished and published my first book, *Ablaze*.
