Alison was born and raised in Manhattan where she currently lives. She is a licensed Master of Social Work, and while not working in the field at the moment, continues to take continuing education classes to keep up. She has been an actress, mostly in commercials, and an advertising copywriter. Alison is an avid dog person and hopes for her dog to become a therapy animal to those in need. In her spare time, she continues to take Italian classes. She is also an exercise enthusiast, especially hiking and skiing. Alison's second memoir, Walking Alison: A Poodle's Most True Story of Helping Her Human Navigate Life will be available December 5th. The healing relationship between a dog and her human is at the heart of this charming memoir, where her dog, Dea, is the narrator. Alison's first memoir, A Place Called Grace is also an audiobook sold on Audible and Amazon and Alison was the narrator.
