Allowah Lani has devoted his adult life to spiritual and religious scholarship, earning a BA in philosophy and an MA in liberal arts from the University of Pennsylvania and going on to study the Torah and the Bible in Hebrew in Jerusalem. Allowah began a PhD in Hebrew and Judaic studies at New York University comparing Kabbalah and yoga philosophy prior to becoming a full-time yoga instructor. He is the founder and director of Yoga University, which offers teacher training and is registered with the Yoga Alliance. Allowah currently lives in Naples, Florida with his wife, Beata, and their son, Sonny. His first book was "Who Am I? Yoga, Psychedelics and the Quest for the Enlightenment." He has also recently published a sequel and answer to the first book, "I Am Love: Yoga, Ayahuasca, A Course in Miracles and the Journey Back to the Place We Never Left," and also a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Manual called "The Great Yoga Quest."
