Ashley Ryan is a writer, editor and photographer based in Orange County, California. Anyone that knows her will tell you that her schedule is always full. While traveling and her senior dog, Ace, are her biggest passions, you’ll also find her at concerts, Dodger baseball games, theme parks, local museums, wine tasting, spending time with friends or family and, of course, seeking out new restaurants to try. She also enjoys hiking, swimming (especially in the ocean) and Pilates. Born and raised in Southern California, she currently works as a managing editor for Firebrand Media, the Laguna Beach-based publishing company responsible for crafting Laguna Beach Magazine, Newport Beach Magazine and various hospitality titles. Since graduating with a degree in journalism and anthropology from California State University, Long Beach, Ashley has also written for a variety of other outlets, including Pure Wander, CBS Los Angeles/Orange County and Parenting OC Magazine.
