This is the part where I’m supposed to tell you how great I am, right?
You know, where most authors use credibility by association triggers, important buzzwords, and brag about accomplishments.
Well, instead of boring you I think you deserve the real story of how I got to this point in my life.
I wasn’t always successful, not by a long shot.
When I started my Upper Cervical Practice in 2008, my wife was at home with 3 small children under 4 years old, I had over $250,000 worth of debt, and my credit cards were maxed out.
I still remember being on my knees every day calling out to God for help. I struggled to find peace and trust God completely. I was scared because I knew if I didn’t make something happen fast, I’d have to close my doors and then what would I do?
But thankfully one of the unique ways that God has gifted me is that I am relentless when it comes to learning, growing, and improving. So we scratched and clawed and applied some of the success principles I was learning and we started to see the practice grow.
The next thing you know we look up and we had built an all-cash $30,000 per month practice from nothing in only three years.
But after all of that work and stress to get to that point my biggest challenge was yet to come…
In November of 2011 while mountain biking with some friends I suffered a spinal cord injury and was paralyzed. In 3 months while in the hospital I lost 80% of my patients and eventually had to close the practice that we had built because I could no longer help patients.
It was devastating. I thought I was going to practice for 50 years. I loved seeing people get well and I thought it was all over.
But in 2013 God revealed to me a new plan and purpose he had for my life and that was to start Upper Cervical Marketing to help Upper Cervical Doctors and students thrive in practice.
Suddenly, I was able to help people get well again!
Over the past five years, our team at Upper Cervical Marketing has helped our clients attract over 20,000 new patients through digital marketing!
But even with all that success, I realized I needed to do more to help Upper Cervical Doctors and students because there are so few great Upper Cervical Practices.
Since 2015 our Upper Cervical Marketing Team has been doing an annual Upper Cervical Practice Survey and have discovered some startling statistics from the 659 Upper Cervical Practices we have surveyed:
• 19% of doctors are collecting less than $10,000 per month
• 45% of doctors are collecting less than $20,000 per month
• 13% of doctors see less than 50 patient visits per week
• 74% of doctors are in solo practice
• 36% of doctors number one problem is generating enough new patients
• 10% of doctors see 5 new patients or less per month
Once I was aware of how many Doctors are struggling and the many more that are complacent or are just unable to take their practice from good to great. I realized that I had to do something.
I have personally worked with over 200 Upper Cervical Practices and have interviewed nearly 100 more of the top Upper Cervical Doctors in our profession on The Upper Cervical Marketing Podcast and I have found that the top 20% of our profession are running their life and their practice differently than the bottom 80%.
So I decided to share all the wisdom I have learned from the top Upper Cervical Doctors in our profession as well as my own experience in building two extremely successful businesses.
It is with all of these experiences that I wrote this book to help you master Upper Cervical Practice and grow Upper Cervical in your community and around the world so we can help more sick and suffering people find hope and healing.

I’m NOT one of those entrepreneurs that believe in working and hustling 24/7 without coming up for air. We’ve all seen those guys. You won’t find me chained to an office or creating content every waking hour of the day.
