Brad Rhoads graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Furman University in 1990, and then graduated Order of the Coif from University of Kentucky law school in 1993. He practiced at a large firm in Nashville for some years before starting Rhoads and Rhoads, PSC in Owensboro, Kentucky. Marilyn Rhoads has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Lipscomb University and a Master’s in social work from the University of Southern Indiana. She worked as a counselor to children before leaving her job with Counseling Associates to care for the Rhoads’s five children. Brad and Marilyn have been passionate about helping marriages since God transformed their own marriage after a nearly disastrous start. Brad has served as the lay Marriage Pastor at his local church in Owensboro for over ten years. He regularly conducts pastoral crisis counseling and oversees the marriage ministry of the church, including the marriages of church staff. In 2015, the Rhoads felt God’s call to pursue marriage ministry full-time. Brad and Marilyn took a tremendous leap of faith and haven’t looked back. They founded Grace Marriage to equip churches with an ongoing pathway of discipleship to help husbands and wives build marriages that reflect the Gospel.
