Brian Guthrie, 2017 Dragon Award nominee Best Scifi novel, is an independent author of science fiction, fantasy, and more. His first novel, Rise (co-authored with partner, Michelle Guthrie) won the 2015 Inkshares Nerdist Contest and was a 2023 Break the Bechtel Syndicate selection. His second novel, Fall (also co-authored with Michelle Guthrie) released in 2024. Both are also on Audible (produced by Audible Studios), with Fall premiering in the top 15%. After Man (a third project with Michelle Guthrie; release TBD) won the Inkshares Geek and Sundry Hard Science Fiction Contest. He has plans for more joint science fiction and historical fiction projects with Michelle Guthrie, some historical fiction, and much more. He currently lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
