Christina (C.A.) Larmer tried writing a romance at the age of 13 but pretty soon she'd bumped off the hero and planted it on the heroine. It was the beginning of a beautiful love affair that has resulted in more than 20 books published across the globe, from Australia to the US, the UK and Canada. Now a hybrid author with publishers in Japan, France and Spain, Christina has four crime series (the Murder Mystery Book Club, the Ghostwriter Mysteries, the Sleuths of Last Resort and the Posthumous Mysteries), as well as a thriller-suspense novel and a stand-alone mystery masquerading as a family saga (she's fooling nobody). Born and bred in tropical Papua New Guinea, Christina has also lived and worked in Sydney, London, Los Angeles and New York. A journalist, editor, teacher and mentor, she now resides on the east coast of Australia with her musician husband, two sons, a devilish Blue heeler and countless koalas and snakes, none of which come close to the villains in her books.
