CL Thomas grew up in Southern New England in the 1970's playing outside every chance he could, and one of his favorite games to play, was Cops and Robbers. Little did he know that one day he would get play Cops and Robbers for real as an adult, first in the United States Army and later with the Houston Police Department. On several occasions, CL Thomas would come home after a long day at work and tell his wife, "I would have done this for free." For eight years, CL Thomas was a member of a tactical squad in one of the worst neighborhoods in the city. He worked alongside five other highly trained and dedicated officers, putting their lives on the line every day for the citizens of Houston without thought or hesitation. CL Thomas has been writing stories since the 10th grade, growing up in East Hartford Connecticut and he brings his gritty work world reality to the pages of The Hollow, painting a picture of the world very few people ever get to see.
