Caro Matzko (born 1979 in Ulm) studied communication science, political science, and sociology, and today works in many capacities: as a journalist, TV and event host, author, and keynote speaker. Since 2002, she has been a presenter and writer for the cultural radio station Bayern 2, contributing to programs such as “1zu1 – Der Talk”, “Radiowissen”, and “IQ – Science and Research.” On television, she has hosted a variety of formats over the past 20 years, appearing on ARD alpha, arte, BR Fernsehen, and Germany’s national public broadcaster, Das Erste. For the past nine years, she has co-hosted and helped shape the cult TV show “Ringlstetter” on Bayerischer Rundfunk, working alongside Hannes Ringlstetter as a creative “sidekick” and editorial contributor. Caro Matzko lives in Munich. She is married and both a mother and a stepmother in a blended family.
