Casey Dunne is a spiritual witch healer, artist, and author of the fantasy novels The Bones of the Mountain and The Blood of the Forest as well as numerous poetry books. She holds her Master's in Mental Health Counseling: Somatic Body Psychotherapy from Naropa University and a Jungian Certificate from the Zur Institute. Casey currently lives in scenic Colorado with her dog, Athena and her cat, Artemis. As an author, Casey seeks to illuminate the often-unacknowledged darker aspects of the human condition, known as the shadow. The author of The Queen of Lyria Trilogy creates fantastical characters that are relatable through their struggles with trauma, relationships, and society itself. She dreams of worlds beyond our own, of gods and monsters, dragons and galaxies. Casey writes as a way to give life to those worlds and to come into deeper relationship with the unconscious through archetypal exploration. She wonders what we as humans can learn from the stories in our unconscious—what knowledge of the body, mind, and soul is yet to be discovered within.
