Catherine Stovall is an American author and artist known for her work in horror, steampunk, paranormal, fantasy, dark fantasy, and young adult genres. She currently resides in Southeast Missouri with the love of her life and many pets. Her literary portfolio includes novels such as Dead After Life, Night’s Bishop, Iyzebel, and the Keeper’s Heart as well as short story collections As Mad as a Hatter, Twice as Twisted, and The Tales of Wren, and novellas like The Death Eater Omnibus and Spellbound. In addition to these works, she is well-known for her powerful standalone short stories, such as The Wish and Don’t Open Your Eyes. In addition to her writing, Stovall is an accomplished artist. She has contributed illustrations to various anthologies and operates an art studio specializing in non-traditional custom paintings. Her artistic endeavors often reflect her love for the fantastical and the macabre. Stovall is an active mentor for young writers and has frequently worked with other independent authors to promote and build the indie writing community. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys riding motorcycles, wearing elaborate hats, and embracing the oddities of life.
