Charles Fuchs a pioneer in the self-help genre. He's been an addict himself and faced many tribulations in life. His life started to take a turn for the worse when he became an alcoholic, he started to lose control , and this started effecting his personal life, friends, wife and family. There came a point in his life where he came to the realization that he was losing grips with reality and needed to gain control of his life, and not allow alcohol to dictate his life any longer. In incremental steps he conquered his addiction and now has been sober for the last 10 years. Charles decided to write his first book " Alcoholic Cure How To Stop Drinking Now" drawing from depths of his personal life experiences to impact others, inspire and share with them his wisdom, knowledge, and comprehensive multifaceted approach to overcoming addictions, bad habits and barriers for good. After attending a few group interventions for alcoholics, he decided to take a holistic approach to his problems as he felt most strategies out there solely focused on one dimensional tactics. This is where he discovered nutritional/herbal supplementation, philosophy and in combination with social lifestyle changes he could overcome the snare alcohol gripped him with, he could be liberated from the shackles and chains that kept him restrained from living the life he always wanted to. It didn't stop with alcohol, soon after he decided to travel the world and dedicate his time and energies to pursue his passion to help others overcome different types of addictions and empower them through his books and work he creates, and in hopes to touch and change the lives of people all across the globe. He continues to write to impact and change lives one step at a time, and strongly believes that a holistic approach needs to be implemented when dealing with any type of addiction or barrier. He stated " life itself is a multifaceted reality, and to truly be free from any addiction or overcoming a barrier one must be cognizant of the various aspects of life in this vast reality. It's futile trying to use one dimensional tactics as humans are complex creatures and need to be treated holistically, socially, mentally/emotionally and physically." In the midst of his own darkness, persecution and assailing tribulations he seems to have found his true purpose in life, his vocation to serve others and help them live life to the fullest extent by conquering their addictions, bad habits and overcoming barriers.
