CHRISTINE MILES is an author, professional keynote speaker, consultant, executive coach, thought leader, entrepreneur, and radio show host. After a lifetime being intrigued with the concept of understanding others, she has become a recognized world expert in the field of listening differently. For more than three decades, Christine has helped thousands of executives, individuals, and families expand human connections, transforming businesses and lives. She developed her gift of understanding others early in life as she watched her mother deal with adversity. She overcame learning challenges through her exceptional talent of listening differently and earned her BS in psychology at Millersville University and master’s in psychology at the University of Pennsylvania. Christine received her certificate in Structural Family Therapy at the Philadelphia Child Guidance Center, part of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Christine is a gifted, all-American field hockey athlete. She received the prestigious honor of being a Honda Broderick Award Nominee in 1987, a US field hockey squad member for two years, assistant coach at the University of Pennsylvania from 1989-1992, and inductee into the Millersville Hall of Fame in 2011. Listening has helped Christine understand herself, her limitations, and her strengths, and driven her to a higher level of performance to persevere through life’s obstacles. Listening differently prepared her for the hardest thing of all—reinventing herself at thirty-one after suffering a cervical spine injury in a car accident. In 2019, Christine was the featured speaker at nine CIO and CFO forums across the US. She hosts the number-one business radio show on the East Coast, Executive Leaders Radio, where she has interviewed scores of CEOs about how their early life shaped their leadership. Christine is the author of What Is It Costing You Not to Listen, and the co-author of the book The Art of the Nudge: Unlocking Your Hidden Potential. Christine founded her consulting and training business, EQuipt, to help leaders from medium-sized companies to Fortune 100 corporations grow sales, develop people, and create cultures of understanding. She also created her workshop The Listening Path, a transformational approach to understanding and insight.
