Christopher Brewer is a retired U.S. Army Special Forces officer with thirty-eight years of combined military and security contracting experience. During his twenty-four years of active duty, he served as a sergeant in Ranger, Special Forces, and airborne units before commissioning as an officer in the Infantry and qualifying as a Special Forces officer. His military career included nine years of overseas deployments. Following retirement, he spent fourteen years as a security and force protection contractor in the US, Afghanistan, the UAE, and Africa. Drawing from his extensive firsthand experience, he writes authentic accounts of military and security operations. His first book, "Old Scroll Ranger," chronicles the formation of the 1st Ranger Battalion in 1974. He continues his stories here “In the Shadows Between the Wars” describing his journey to Special Forces and classified operations. He brings a boots-on-the-ground perspective to his writing, sharing the raw realities and human elements of military service through the lens of someone who has lived it.
