Christopher Carter Sanderson is the storied founding artistic director of NYC's Gorilla Rep, responsible for their 20+ rave New York Times reviews and mainstream-media cult celebrity status. Author of award-winning screenplays, his latest book is the prose-poem novel 'The Too-Brief Chronicle of Judah Lowe' (Sagging Meniscus Press), and he is the author of the verse play adaptation 'UBU IS KING!' (Accolades Arts Press, international productions), other produced plays and musicals (Dramatists Guild member), the scholarly title 'Gorilla Theatre' (Routledge), published poetry (Gravitas, Poetry City No. 7, Poets Choice, Show Us Your Papers anthology, others), published poetic translation/adaptations (Lunch Ticket Magazine), interviews, and trade articles. Fulbright grantee to write. BFA NYU, MFA Yale. He teaches writing at one of the last of the two remaining legendary YMCA Writers Center's Centers, in Syracuse, NY. US Navy vet.
