My name is Cindy Lee and I am the author behind Why Pray? Ian and His Puppy Discover the Prayer Habit, first in the Why? Series of children's books. Why write the "Why Series? of children's books? The Why Series? is written to help parents explain biblical concepts, and other great values, to their children when "because I said so" does not seem to reach your child. Through Roorific Reading, my mission is to encourage the habit of reading, prayer, and many other valuable habits for children. I was always asking questions when my parents would teach me. Parents can use a helping hand when it comes to the "Why?" questions children ask. I completed the Writing for Children and Teens course through the Institute for Children's Literature in 2009. I also received a Master's degree in business. I love to tutor children part-time in reading and math. I am a member of a beautiful church who loves Jesus. I enjoy spending time with my husband, his beautiful children, a grandson as well as our 3 doggies. Yes, one of the doggies is Peanut! I have an amazing illustrator, Yana Gorbatiyk, and an editor, Elizabeth Bortka. Why Roorific Reading? I believe reading opens original roads to information which feeds imagination and creativity!
