D. Brown was born in Lawton, Oklahoma. As a child of military parents, he grew up with a diversity that has shaped his writing style as well as cultivated his love of literature. After attending the University of Arkansas where he earned a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree and a Master of Public Administration degree, he moved to Texas to pursue a career with a government agency. After years of working in the public and private sector, D.Brown desired more out of life and decided to pursue his ultimate dream. Having always been a natural writer, he made the transition into becoming a published author. ​ He has always been passionate about storytelling and impressed by the influence it has on people and the decisions they make in life. D.Brown loves engaging with the projects he is working on, diving headfirst into the research, investigation, and production of stories he feels are worth writing about. Being a curious and proactive Author, he is interested in preserving the foundations set by classical literature by adapting them to modern themes and trends.
