Former technical instructor David D. McCray is the author of the Online for Quality of Living series. His work is focused on health and anti-aging, working with the philosophy that the secret to aging well is to find ways to have great health and vitality in the present moment, rather than focusing on ways to extend life. David majored in psychology and went on to work in electronics. He built his skills in teaching by working as an instructor, teaching a full range of skills, including the technical knowledge of physics and physiology required in order to scuba dive safely. While his professional experience may seem at odds with the content of his writing, his passion for research and science translates well to his lifelong interest in anti-aging, which has grown as he's gotten older. Now in his 70s himself, David has researched senior health and anti-aging techniques meticulously, and has applied what he's learned to his own lifestyle. David has noticed huge benefits from this, and doesn't feel he's an older adult. He gets a great deal of satisfaction from sharing the knowledge he knows will help other people and his dedicated to helping older readers take control of their own health and stay young for longer. Now retired, David focuses on his passions, researching, writing, and taking care of his own health. He is an advocate for lifelong learning and strives to learn something new every day.
