Daniel W Spyker was born on May 22 1981. He began to enjoy writing in school where he had a lackluster career in academics to say the least. Not for his ability however, but for his efforts. As time went on,he began writing once again.For his first experiment with writing as an adult it came in the form of a screenplay. On a whim and extremely rough, he entered it into a local competition which he wrote about his hometown of Portland, Oregon. For his efforts he received a Platinum Award in Oregon's 2011 Film Festival Awards. Now he is working on expanding his screenplay into a novel and has many more projects on the way.
