Like so many kids my age, I wandered the deserted halls of Erebor in the Hobbit, battling elves and goblins. I grew up on a small family farm and would do my best to slip away into the cold air of the basement to read about Johnny Smith from the Dead Zone touching people and seeing their future or Ender battling in zero gravity in Command School. As I grew older, I wanted to create my own tale, something that would inspire some other kid who was buried in a book, avoiding their chores. Over the years a story formed in my mind and I started writing it, but would get stuck or distracted. There are pieces of it on burned out hard drives somewhere in various landfills. Finally, after three kids and many football games, I got serious about writing it. One book turned into three. The series is complete and available on Amazon. The titles are Son of Ruin, Mark of the Vigilante and The Prophesied One.
