David was born into a preacher's home in the late forties. He moved to Alaska as a married man in 1981. He was always an adventurer. In the 80's he staked an Alaskan homestead of forty acres and built a log cabin that next winter. He and Janice and their adopted daughter, Reyna, braved a winter in the cabin in the middle nineties. They learned various survival skills. Those long dark winter nights were a good time to reflect on the things of God. Some of the ideas for the fiction series,The Northern Force, were formulated in his mind way back then. Our author has a passion for God, and has studied the Word concerning the happenings in the 'last days.' The author, in the 70's and 80's , was a youth pastor and later taught in Christian Schools in California from 2001 to 2014. Inspired by the great authors that write fiction taking place at the end of time, David wrote The Northern Force Book Series of five books. God's power is revealed to each member during this time shortly after what we call 'the Rapture.' The books depict this group of Christ followers as they attempt to survive in what the Bible calls 'The Tribulation." The author has penned several other self published books of adventure and just plain fun, 'Destroying Leadership,' 'Dniknam The Lesser,' 'Truth Alaska Style,' and 'Inside The Cover.' David is a graduate of Bethany Bible College, Scotts Valley, CA, and received his Master's of Ed in 2007 from Jones International University. He is married and has six children and eleven grandchildren. He is retired and Janice teaches Christian school. They reside in Missoula, MT.
