David Kopec is an Associate Professor of Computer Science & Innovation at Champlain College in Burlington, VT. Prior to joining the faculty at Champlain, David worked in the startup world as a co-founder and consultant to early stage tech companies with a concentration in iOS app development. David is the author of the introductory programming book Dart for Absolute Beginners (Apress, 2014) and the intermediate programming book Classic Computer Science Problems in Swift (Manning, 2018). He is the author of popular Swift open source data structure projects and an avid podcaster. David holds an A.B. in Economics from Dartmouth College, as well as a M.S. in Computer Science, also from Dartmouth.
