Denise Sauriol, aka Marathon Whisperer, has been coaching runners to their first marathon since 2010. She wrote this book to inspire and guide those that don't think can do a marathon that 26.2 is so in Reach!! She also wrote this book for those that are already signed up for their first marathon and rightfully a little SCITED (Scared + Excited). Her energy and insight emit throughout the pages to make the reader see that they too can do 26.2! Back in October 1993, Denise's older sister Debbie ran the Chicago Marathon. It was then that Debbie turned something Denise thought was Super-Human (A Marathon!) and made it human. That's what the reader will find in this book from all of Denise's first-timer stories that she shares. The reader will see that the marathon is no longer super-human and that the finish line will lead to the reader looking for more SCITED start lines (in and out of sport). Denise is a certified running coach through Road Runners Club of America and USATF. She has completed 116 marathons, two Ironman Triathlons, two 100-mile ultras; all of which would not have been possible unless she SCITEDLY lined up for her first marathon back on 10/30/1994 (Chicago Marathon). She has marathoned on all 7-Continents, completed the Abbott World Marathon Majors twice and in 2019 completed the Everest Marathon.
