About the Author, I grew up in a small town in Washington State, graduated from Clarkston High School and joined the Army. I served 2 enlistments, before attending college. In college I did all sorts of odd jobs, janitor, Skywest Airlines Baggage handler (loved that job), garbage man for a time, then found a niche as a certified nursing aid, then finally as a Licensed practical nurse then a Registered nurse. Gamming influences. Risk, Pathfinder, Star fleet Battles, Traveler, World of Warcraft, and Guildwars. Other writing Influences include, Gary Gygax, Steven King, C. S. Lewis, Terry Goodkind, Piers Anthony, Robert Asprin, David Eddings , and J.R.R. Tolkien. Other story tellers include, Joss whedon, Steven Spielberg, Peter Jackson, and Evan Marshal. I write and draw, but I am not a great writer or a great artist. I don't do anything particularly exceptional. I am average unimaginative and ordinary. The only thing that is remarkable about me is my wife. She loves me more than I deserve. She thinks of me as gifted, handsome and smart. She believes in me and says I can do anything. She makes me want to be a better person, to try a little harder, and think a little deeper to make her life better. D.
