Rev. Dr. Dennis R. Edwards is the first African American PhD graduate in Biblical Studies from The Catholic University of America. He also earned an MA in Biblical Studies at Catholic University of America; MDiv at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School; BS at Cornell University. He is currently the first African American Seminary Dean and Vice President of Church Relations at North Park Theological Seminary (Chicago, IL), having previously served there as Associate Professor of New Testament. In his three decades of urban pastoral ministry experience, Dennis has been a church planter and pastor in Brooklyn, NY; Washington, DC; and Minneapolis, MN.
