Dexuality Valentino was born and raised in Manchester and now resides in Blyth, Northumberland, with his wife and three dogs. At 14, he won an award for reading the most books at his school, earning a book token and some playground mockery. He is also known as Dex Hannon, an award-winning multimedia artist and photographer. As a musician under the names Skin Vehicles, DVEC, and SkinGasm, his music has been featured on BBC Radio several times. Valentino’s writing is short, sharp, and mixes the mundane with the macabre, adding a distinct sense of humour and surrealism. His stories, like "Goodbye Armadillo" and "Stopping Breathing," blend speculative fiction, dark comedy, and surrealism to explore the human condition, all while maintaining quick, simple prose.
