I'm the mother of two grown children and a grandmother to two amazing little boys. I was born in a little town in northeastern Indiana and have lived there in the Midwest, on the East Coast and now in Colorado, where I've lived for the past 30 years. I have always loved romance fiction and history so my writing passions are historical and contemporary novels. I love writing fiction because it is a way to create characters and situations where people overcome their weaknesses and emerge strong and happy. The Apple Springs Brides series is my first romance series in the western fiction genre and grew out of many days spent driving all over the beautiful state of Colorado and wondering about the people who built this state. Now I get to write those stories! All of my stories are based on true facts about the area with my own take on what might have happened. Hope you enjoy!
