They have also been recognized for poetry, including runner-up for a national Irish poetry award and a writing residency at the Tyrone Guthrie Center, awarded by The Arts Council of Ireland. With a background in Early Irish language and mythology, Dixon brings layered storytelling to their work. Outside of writing, they enjoy cosplay and video gaming.
