Donna Grillo was born in South Carolina but has been a California girl since she was three. Growing up during the fashion crazed rock and roll era known as "glam rock" Donna was influenced by David Bowie, T-Rex and Lou Reed. Hollywood was her playground and even though she was under age she always managed to get in to the clubs and parties that her idols hung out at. Wham Glam Thank You Ma'am is a series of short stories and diary entries based on the wild days of glitter and glam seen through the eyes of a fifteen year old girl trying to find her place in the world without becoming a slut or another drugged out tragedy.
