Doris is a wife, mother, grandmother, retired middle school teacher, retired pastor, and a Hoosier. While teaching in her forties, she answered God's call to the ministry. She has always enjoyed writing and thinking of all the "what ifs" that lead to interesting and insightful fiction books. Her fictional characters to date have been Hoosiers and folks who trust in the grace and forgiveness of God. She also has three devotionals and two children's picture books. The latest and best children's book is DON'T BE AFRAID. All children have fears at some time. This book addresses many fears and how to overcome them. The newest picture book, DON'T BE A BULLY, will be published soon. The non-fiction book, ESSENTIAL TREMOR INSIGHTS. MANEUVERING THROUGH TREMOR: PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL PERCEPTIONS provides help and understanding for those with tremors and those who don't recognize the depression, embarrassment, and discomfort that accompany ET. The author has had ET since her teen years, so she realizes the desire many have to hide the shaking. Her favorite books to write are fiction. She is a widow now living in Lafayette, IN.
