I am a Venezuelan novelist who has published in Caracas, Miami, and Barcelona, Spain. For many years I worked in corporate communications in multinational companies until one day, I decided it was enough. So I went to live in the countryside, where I developed an ecotourism project and began to write novels, something I had always wanted. I first published "Te pienso en el puerto", a family story about the Corsican immigrants who arrived at the port of Carúpano, Venezuela, during the 19th century. Then I wrote "Viernes a la sombra", a portrait of life in Caracas during the end of the Pérez Jiménez dictatorship and the beginning of democracy in Venezuela. In 2011 I published in Barcelona, Spain, "Las siluetas del fuego", a fictionalized biography of Zenobia Camprubrí, the talented wife of the Nobel poet Juan Ramon Jimenez. My latest novel is "Aromas del diluvio", a contemporary story that begins with the landslide in Vargas State, Venezuela, and continues with the Venezuelan diaspora to different parts of the world, marking the first years of the 21st century in my country. Over the last few years, I have published two of my novels in English: "Thinking of You at the Port" and "Modern Flood". Later, I started to help others to write their own stories, especially since the new publishing platforms became an excellent opportunity to publish. But first, they had to learn to narrate well. Then I developed the workshop "The Story of your Life", which has been successful in recent years and has opened up immense possibilities for those who want to publish their story and any story. I have recently added the "Manual práctico para contar tu historia o cualquier historia", which is based on the notes from my workshop and comes with several exercises to remember and narrate. I live in Miami and am working as an editorial coach while thinking of a new novel.
