Novelist and poet, Elizabeth Cunningham is best known for The Maeve Chronicles, a series of award-winning novels featuring fesity a Celtic Magdalen. The descendant of generations of Episcopal priests, Cunningham grew up in a small town church next door to an overgrown, enchanted wood. Equally influenced by scripture and fairytale, she has spent her life writing stories that traverse the worlds. Resisting the temptation to follow in her forefathers’ footsteps to become the first woman in a line of priests, in midlife she became an ordained interfaith minister and counselor. She lives in High Falls, New York, in the valley of the Mahicantuck (the river that flows both ways) on land that was home to the Lenape. In November 2023 Monkfish Book Publishing company will publish Cunningham's My Life as a Prayer: A Multi-faith Memoir. Candid and passionate, Cunningham's nonfiction debut invites readers of all faiths—and doubts!—to explore life as a prayer (one who prays) in this beautiful, imperiled world we share. In April 2023 Monkfish published the 30th anniversary edition of Cunningham's novel The Wild Mother. A new edition of The Return of the Goddess, A Divine Comedy is forthcoming in August 2023. Her mystery novels Murder at the Rummage Sale and All the Perils of this Night will be reissued by Monkfish in 2024. How to Spin Gold, A Woman's Tale, remains in print as do all of The Maeve Chronicles, in all formats, including Audible. She is currently at work on a new novel that brings her back to the realm of fairy tale. Every Tuesday Elizabeth Cunningham posts excerpts on her author page on Facebook as well as on Maeve Rhuad's personal page. She loves to interact with readers. You can also write to her through her website and sign up for her newsletter. Cunningham believes that reading is a creative act and is grateful to readers for bringing her stories to new life in their imaginations! http://elizabethcunninghamwrites.com/ https://www.facebook.com/maeve.rhuad https://www.facebook.com/ElizNMaeve
