Elizabeth Mahood was born in St. Joseph Missouri in 1970. She moved with her family to Illinois where her father was the Director of Probation and worked with the County Sheriff's department as well as local police on many cases. She enjoyed reading from an early age and instantly was attracted to suspense such as Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys. While active duty she acted as the Drug and Alcohol Counselor, Suicide Counselor, Sexual Assault Counselor and Career Counselor helping many sailors with life in the military. After retiring she settled in the Pacific Northwest and became a licensed Massage Therapist and finished her degree in Applied Behavioral Science.
