Major Eric Laughton retired from the New York State Police as the Troop "E" Troop Commander after 32 years of service. He held numerous roles throughout his career, including undercover narcotics officer, officer-in-charge of a counterterrorism unit, special investigations investigator, and more. Colonel Eric Laughton also served in the New York State Air National Guard for 40 years, retiring in 2023. In his final years, he was the 107th Medical Group Commander and Wing Plans Officer. Eric is a leadership and self-improvement expert, as well as the author of three 5-star-rated books: 📖 The 4M’s of Success 📖 The Success Equation: Success + Attitude = Mastering Life 📖 Decisions and Consequences: A Cop's Guide to Parenting Responsible Teenagers He is a motivational speaker, certified John Maxwell Team coach, trainer, and speaker.
