Erica Drew is a mother of two wonderful kids, a boy and a girl. Erica has been a stay at home mom since the birth of her first child. Back in 2008 Erica’s life took a drastic change for the worse. Her happy family life was becoming increasingly difficult due to her deteriorating health. Doctor after doctor and what seemed like endless tests turned up nothing conclusive. However, there was one thing that came up that doctors knew for sure, it was that she was not absorbing vitamins and minerals. The iron levels in her blood were getting dangerously low and Erica needed regular intravenous iron injections to raise them to normal levels. The doctors were stumped as to why her blood iron levels were continuously falling and thus causing major challenges to her day to day life of raising a family. It wasn’t until years later that Erica discovered that she was gluten intolerant. Even though it was later determined that Erica had Celiac disease, the tests for Celiac came back negative. The reason for the negative test result was because she had already began living a gluten free lifestyle. Once finding out that gluten was the main culprit of her health condition, her life finally began to change for the better. Over the next several months Erica would regain her former levels of energy and vitality. Erica’s life has always been busy and on the fast track; now, by living gluten free she is able to keep pace with her hectic schedule. Erica is very happy and proud to be able to share her story and research with others who may also be suffering from a form of gluten intolerance. After sharing the first draft of her book with family and friends, Erica knew that she wanted to share her book with a larger audience. Partnering with Amazon’s Kindle Select program was the perfect fit for Erica. Erica also has a great passion for cooking. Look for Erica's fantastic gluten free recipes, also available on Kindle.
