Erin Hughes is an IT Professional who has provided IT Security, Infrastructure and Architecture services and consulting to dozens of Fortune 500 companies as well as several U.S. Government Agencies. Erin was born and raised in a small town south of Buffalo in the 80’s. After leaving high school with little opportunities in his hometown, he joined the Marines, in 1991 and served for 6 years achieving the rank of Sergeant. Along the way Erin learned how to lead, how to learn and how to work in the ever-changing markets and locations. Committed to self education and self improvement. Erin now wants to now impart wisdom of the painful lessons learned he has been through to help others avoid these pitfalls. Erin's never quit attitude is present in his writing and the way he lives his life, from the Marines to almost 10 years total in Japan he has seen and worked in different environments to bridge language and culture gaps to get the job done. Although his Buffalo roots have never left him, with his love of the Bills and the Sabers, he happily lives in Katy Texas with his wife and 3 children.
