Faye L Allman is a fourth dan black belt in Taekwon-Do. Although she no longer competes, Faye has secured a number of titles including English and British Champion. For many years she represented the England Taekwon-Do team and captained the ladies team to a European silver medal. Faye studied Sport and Exercise Development at Sunderland University where she secured a first-class honours degree before setting up a successful Taekwon-Do club. Since then, Faye has released a Taekwon-Do Study Guide to help her students, and the wider community, work towards their black belt by breaking down techniques into teaching points. Faye is also the author of The Quiet Ninja, a children's novel set in a fictional Taekwon-Do club. Faye lives in the north east of England and enjoys martial arts, yoga, creative writing and hiking with her boyfriend and their Welsh terrier.
