Greetings, and thank you for visiting my author's page. Allow me to take you on a journey through my diverse and captivating career after retiring from the Milpitas Police Department. Upon stepping into the world of education, I took on the remarkable task of teaching at-risk incarcerated juveniles and adults. This transition allowed me to make a profound impact on the lives of individuals who faced considerable challenges. As I delved deeper into this field, my dedication led me to pursue a Ph.D. in psychology, strengthening my ability to support these students effectively. My journey took an even more transformative turn when I was entrusted with the responsibility of creating our county's inaugural military-style boot camp academy. This institution served as a last resort for young individuals who were teetering on the precipice of a life entrenched in crime and further incarceration. Much like the inspirational essence of the film "Freedom Writers," I encouraged my students, referred to as cadets, to express their tumultuous journeys through writing. They chronicled their dysfunctional lives and the pivotal role that an environment founded on principles of order, structure, and discipline played in reshaping their destinies. In a heartfelt promise to them, I pledged to share their stories with the world once they were ready for publication. To our astonishment, this endeavor resulted in a remarkable achievement. Our collective work became a best-seller on the vast canvas of Amazon, reaching countless readers and touching their hearts. It was during this incredible journey that I discovered my own passion for writing, setting the stage for the birth of my beloved female protagonist, FBI agent Jeannie Loomis. Jeannie Loomis emerged as a strong and enigmatic character, leading the charge in a series of gripping crime and thriller novels. To date, her adventures have spanned an impressive twelve novels, captivating readers with every twist and turn. However, my creative spirit refused to be confined to a single genre. Venturing into the world of horror, I embarked on a thrilling odyssey. My first foray into the horror genre involved the reimagination of the iconic public domain film "House on Haunted Hill." I breathed new life into this classic tale, crafting a contemporary adaptation that thrilled readers with its spine-tingling narrative. This marked the inception of a series of horror novels, with each release consistently claiming its place among the top echelons of the genre. Currently, I find myself living the dream of retirement, savoring the serene shores of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It's a picturesque backdrop that provides the perfect canvas for my creative pursuits. As an author, my greatest reward is the connection I share with my readers. Your feedback and reviews are the lifeblood of a writer, offering vital nourishment to fuel our literary journeys. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to you for joining me on this literary adventure. Whether you choose to explore the thrilling world of Jeannie Loomis or dive into the chilling realms of my horror tales, your support and feedback mean the world to me. Together, let's continue to embark on exciting literary escapades, where words become a portal to boundless imagination and endless possibilities. Thank you for being a part of this remarkable journey.
