Born and raised in Yazoo City, Mississippi, the same hometown as renowned author Willie Morris, I spent my childhood exploring the rich history of the area, often hunting for arrowheads with my parents. Working alongside my father, I gained invaluable hands-on experience painting and remodeling historic homes in Yazoo City.
