Holly Jean Jackson grew up outside of Chicago, IL and then moved to Winston-Salem, NC with her family and grandparents. She started falling in love with writing at a very young age and even won a poetry contest in middle school. She attended Elmhurst College for undergraduate school, getting a double major in Political Science and Urban Studies with a minor in music performance. She loved music and playing piano and clarinet but didn't want to lose her joy for it. After taking a year off, she attended graduate school at North Carolina State University studying Public Administration with a minor in Non-Profits. She began her career in nonprofit and public sector education. After moving to California, she eventually took a corporate job at Visa. She held various technology leadership roles at many large companies for a number of years. After facing layoff after layoff couples with new health struggles, she found herself re-evaluating life. She decided to build her own business and to pave the way, allowing others to do the same through her method of coaching. She now works with business owners and entrepreneurs who want to start, scale or build the business of their dreams. She believes that every individual deserves to build the life and business of their dreams. She helps her clients define and build the legacy they wish to leave behind. Her company, Holly Jean Jackson LLC, provides revenue and performance consulting, marketing consulting, speaking and mastermind services for hundreds of clients all around the world. Holly’s long term vision is to build a nonprofit for children working with school systems around the country focusing on self-help, soft skills and entrepreneurship. She wants to empower children and communities to think about education pathways in a different way. She believes that every child deserves access to skills and tools that our school systems simply can’t provide like budgeting, meditation, yoga, financial planning and entrepreneurship. Holly currently resides in Raleigh, NC with her dog Charleston Cooper. In her free time she enjoys traveling the world, reading, writing, cycling, hiking, swimming, playing the piano and spending time with family and friends.
