Where many may see chivalry as dead, long walks in the park as obsolete, and old-school R&B as outdated, she’s on a mission to prove to men and women worldwide that these pillars still hold true in today’s relationships. Nicola Motley, affectionately known by the pen name Author Jada Pearl, doesn’t just show readers a romantic roller coaster ride of the main characters—she makes her readers, young and old, feel like they’re a part of the story itself. What started as a fervor for writing at the young age of 13 has blossomed into a full literary career for the hopeful romantic, who strives to give each reader romance and relationship words of wisdom from start to finish. Like many, Author Jada Pearl has always had a fear of speaking—both publicly and privately. Instead of retreating to silence, she funneled her fear of expressing herself vocally through creative penmanship. Starting with poetry and poetic prose, her writing soon evolved into short stories and eventually, full blown novels. It was through her attendance at a Romantic Writers of America - Michigan meeting that she honed her craft and soon realized that there was nothing more she wanted to do in life—but write. Author of Dreams Do Come True, Let Me Love You, Let Me Love You 2, and What He Wanted, Jada Pearl intertwines contemporary fiction with pure, unadulterated romance—emphasizing to audiences that the idea of courting and old-school love are still alive and well in many relationships. Her passion for creativity—in thought, in visual expressions and written expressions—drives her to pour her heart and soul into her pieces, taking hopeless romantics to happily ever after, one book at a time.
