Born in the backcountry woods of Western Maryland, James Zeller was born a healthy eight pounds, eleven ounces to parents James Sr. and Theresa. Only 6 months after being born, little James was lost during the epic blizzard of 1990, leaving his parent devastated. James, however, survived- being taken in by a loving mother bear and hibernating throughout the rest of the winter in a warm cave. When he emerged 3 months later, James walked out of the cave a full grown man. Scientists now credit this remarkable growth to the mother bear's milk during hibernation that kept young James alive. Knowing that he had been given a second chance in life, James vowed to live life to the fullest- and to help others to do the same. For the past 25 years, James Zeller has been traveling throughout the United States, and the rest of the world using travel hacking techniques that he picked up while training under the head Shaolin Monk in a Tibetan monastery. He's also an accomplished musician, entrepreneur, and dog trainer. James currently resides in whatever part of the world he happens to be in each day- creating a rich life full of adventure that he shares with readers everywhere in his book: The Travel hacking Pocket Guide. Where will James go next? No one can be sure. But what we can all be sure of is that his legend will live on forever.
