Jay Harrington is an attorney, author, public speaker, and marketing expert, and is the owner of Harrington Communications, a leading creative services and business development training agency for lawyers and law firms. This is Jay’s third book. His first, One of a Kind: A Proven Path to a Profitable Law Practice, was published by Attorney at Work in 2016. His second is a children's picture book about creativity and imagination. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, practiced at top law firms including Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, and Foley & Lardner, before starting his own small law firm in 2009. Jay lives in Traverse City, Michigan, and is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hiking, camping, skiing, and stand up paddleboarding, as well as reading, writing and cooking. Most important of all, he spends every second he can with his wife three young daughters, including his four year old twins (who have different birthdays—go figure!).
