Jean Luc Lafitte was born in South Africa. At the age of seven he came to England. He started his working life as an actor, but soon after this discovered that his passion was in Health care. Though he still presents on health care related issues on television, and for corporate companies and colleges when asked. He graduated in 1995 as a Dr of Chiropractic, and also went on to study Hypnotherapy and Nutrition. He believes that the skill of a writer, especially in regards to health care, is to untangle the array of medical and Latin words that often cause confusion and frustration to his readers. His first book "When the student is ready the master will appear" is not a medical book, and he has also written and narrated many children's books. His series of health books starts with "Sciatica" and gives you the facts, cause, and symptoms in a straight to the point way. Jean Luc lives in Sussex with his family and practices in London and Sussex England.
