Jefferson Glassie has been studying and writing about concepts of peace for most of his adult life. It's sort of an obsession. His main goals in life are to have peace of mind and bring peace to the world. He's still working on it. His books include Peace and Forgiveness, Poems of Peace of Forgiveness, Heaven is Everywhere, Fonging for the Soul, and Fonging for the World. He also has written My Love Affair with an Island, the History of the Jefferson Islands Club and St. Catherine's Island, in addition to law books applicable to membership organizations, including author of International Legal Issues for Nonprofit Organizations and co-author of Intellectual Property Issues for Nonprofit Organizations and Associations. He also is the chief spiritual dude of the Planetary Gigs Society and has interviewed many musicians through the Planetary Gig Talk podcast and has lead many discussions about various aspects of music as part of the Planetary Gig Talk Live! program. He also has partnered with bluegrass musician Tara Linhardt on the Planetary Music Project show, where they visit different musicians and musical communities around the world to show the commonalities we all have through music. As another program of the Planetary Gigs Society, he has organized many Concerts for Democracy. He founded the International Music Ashram Association to promote establishment of music ashrams around the world to support music and musicians.
