Jen Knox (jenknox.com) teaches creative writing and is a leadership lecturer at The Ohio State University. She founded and runs Unleash Creatives, a holistic arts organization in the Midwest. Jen's writing can be found in The Adirondack Review, The Best Small Fictions, Chicago Tribune's Printers Row, Chicago Quarterly Review, McSweeney's Internet Tendency, Room Magazine, Superstition Review, and The Santa Fe Writers Project Quarterly among over a hundred other publications. She is the author of After the Gazebo (Rain Mountain Press, Pen/Faulkner nominee) and The Glass City, which won the 2016 Prize Americana for Prose. Her first novel, We Arrive Uninvited, won the Steel Toe Books Award for Prose in 2021. It rated the top 6 on the Coverfly Redlist for adaptable family-focused fiction, and it was a Top 50 in the Launch Pad Prose Competition as well as a quarterfinalist in the ScreenCraft Cinematic Book Competition.
